It is an independent publisher of books, zines , and other ephemera, showcasing a global class of creatives we love and respect. Onomatopoeia publishing is founded by Lynette Nylander and its creative direction is provided by Chris Glickman.

Lynette is a writer, editor, consultant and content creative director and is a writer at large at Dazed Magazine. She was formerly the Managing Editor of cult publication INDUSTRIE, and also held titles as the Deputy Editor of i-D and Teen Vogue.

She regularly contributes to titles such as Vogue, Elle, The Fader, AnOther, The Guardian, Evening Standard, Buffalo Zine, Sleek and The Beat. She is also the founder of consultancy thinktank imaginethat.

Chris is a creative director, art director and consultant based in New York City. Prior to launching his independent practice he has held positions as the Design Director of Totokaelo and an Art Director on Stüssy’s creative team.

His past and current clients include Arc’Teryx Veilance, Salomon, Idea Books, and RCA Records to name a few.
